I try to take time every single day to be outside. Not necessarily doing anything, just being outside.
We live on a ten acre property populated by enormous Beech and Maple trees, full of beauty, light, and fresh air.
I make an effort every day to appreciate this. We are so fortunate to be able to live in such a place of beauty. It’s like having a park in your backyard.
Today I spent some time sketching on the patio. Watching the chickens peck in the dirt, listening to the newly formed leaves rustle in the wind, and catching a glimpse of the many critters we share these woods with.
