5/3: Day 43
Fun numerology this week, with the calendar day matching the day of the project. Today is also my baby’s due date, though baby is showing no signs of making an appearance!
I had a lot of fun with this little seagull. I was really trying to loosen up my brush strokes and get a little more messy with the ink, but it’s so hard for me to let go of that tight control. I’ll keep working at it, I love the style of artists who are free with their ink strokes, maybe it will just take some time for me to get more comfortable with it.

5/4: Day 44
A little koi today. I love orange and blue together and try to use them as much as possible.

5/5: Day 45
I love drawing cactus. It’s one of those simple drawings that anyone can do, but you can make it so artsy and unique with the details. I love adding patterns to the pot and this time added some flowers floating around too.

5/6: Day 46
I did this monster with Micron pens. I like doing these monsters because I never know what’s going to come out. I don’t start with pencil or do any sketches, I just draw. Every one is different and it’s always an adventure.

5/7: Day 47
This little grump was so fun to draw. I love scribble shading, though I rarely do it. It’s really fun with a dark pencil, I used a 3B pencil for this sketch.

5/8: Day 48
This cutie little monster was a joy to draw. I’m kind of disappointed because at the very end I accidentally smeared some ink on his face. Oh well, nothing is perfect, just gotta move on!

5/9: Day 49
I really don’t even know what this is. I like the eyes but that’s about it. You can’t win them all, right? Sometimes you make things that are just eh. And that’s okay!
