Most days, these three words are all I want to hear:
You inspired me.
Putting artwork out into the world to be judged is definitely not easy. Most days I take a pause right before I click publish and think, do I really want to do this? What if people hate it? But I hit publish anyway, because I hope to hear those three words uttered by someone out there in the world.
I hope that my paintings, drawings, and sculptures will encourage just one person to feel the inspiration to get out their dusty old paint set and start making marks. If I can reach just one person, that’s what matters.
People need to get their hands on art supplies. They need to get the ideas, emotions, thoughts, and urges out of their brain and onto paper.
One of my biggest goals in sharing my work is to help you get started on your own. The desire to create is human nature, and I don’t want you to hold back any longer.
Get out your paper, paint, pencils, markers, clay, whatever you happen to have lying around, and get started. Today. There’s no better time than right freaking now to get messy with some art supplies!
